When comparing the closeness of cut of various detachable blades (the whole units, consisting of an upper and lower blade), for example, the ooo size with the closer cutting oooo size, be sure to check that for each individual blade unit, the upper and lower blades are properly aligned. The upper and lower blades of each unit can be realigned by loosening the two screws on the bottom of the lower blade and repositioning the upper and lower blades with respect to each other. The Oster Professional Clipper has been around for a long time so let the buyer beware, the detachable blade units for the old series of Oster Professiional Clippers, such as for the old Milwaukee Model 22, can in no wise be made to fit into the newer models such as the 076076-123, even though the two clipper models look almost exactly the same from the outside! |
