For the most part it is superior to every electric shaver/trimmer I have ever owned. I received this one for Christmas and so far I'm pleased with it. It comes with nice durable trimming guides. (some other companies products provide flimsy crappy ones that break the second time you change them.) So far I use the trimmer maybe twice a week and I have only charged it once since December 26th so that should tell you something about the battery life. The trimmer itself fits nicely in your hand and is even quieter than my old one. (not that it matters) If you grow a beard or mustache or any form of facial hair do yourself a favor and purchase one of the Wahl products! This keeps your goatee or beard from getting too long and nasty. There is even some free lubricating oil included which they recommend you apply once a month. The battery quit recharging after the 3rd month, and Wahl's position was since I failed to keep my receipt, there was no warranty coverage. Please note that my failure to keep the receipt was definitely my fault.
