My wife usually does the haircutting in the family, so this was partially a gift to her. BUT, since it's my hair being cut, it's also a gift for me.The first thing my wife said was "I love not having to deal with the cord!" We're no longer bound to the wall jacks -- wherever we can put the chair, we can cut the hair. The fully adjustable guards also make the haircut look more professional, especially if you use the beard guard for your hair. My wife barely had to use scissors at all, which is another thing she loved. One pretty unusual thing -- these clippers have a USB JACK!!??! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Several jokes about downloading hairstyles to the clippers later, we realized this is a pretty convenient feature. So many chargers are using USB jacks to provide power (in place of transformers, I guess), this is a pretty good idea. Makes things more compact. Comes with a nice protective travel case. |
