After one use, the cord for the rechargeable model went bad. Upon first call to Conair I was told the item would not be in until the beginning of the following month. Once that time came and went, I called again and was told it wouldn't be available until the NEXT following month. Once that time shot by with nothing, I called yet again and was told that it still didn't come in and they had no clue as to when it would arrive. Kind of like they are just waiting for me to give up. I'd hate to think how long it would take if I had to send something in to get fixed. Do yourself a favor, look at some of the other brands. I promise, you can't do worse than Conair. Could not find a cordless trimmer for the life of me in my local stores so decided to buy this one. I bought it to replace my older Conair which was still working but the blades were warn out after about five years of cutting my hair and my two sons hair. This saves us money from going to the barber and paying 10 for each hair cut. Great product. This review is from: Ultra Cut Hc318gb Rechargeable Cord/cordless Haircut Kit with Turbo Charge, 21-Count (Health and Beauty) I used it a few times and found out that the battery is really bad even after been changed for days. It does not last more than 10 minutes and the worst thing is that if I connect the clipper to the AC power and it still not working in full speed as if it were still trying to use the battery! Another issue is, the little red indicator on the clipper all ways shown red during changing, you have no idea if the charging is complete or not. I would not recommend this clipper.
