It doesn't work well at all. My several year old Panasonic that was wearing out does a far, far better job. What an utter waste of money.I believe the real issue is that the cutters trim like half a centimeter down the cutting tip instead of at the top. The jheri redding II (bought in late 90's) though works very good has a tendency to leave you with cuts in your nose skin! So its hazardous (not even sure why I still didn't toss it). I currently use the Philips Norelco it is possibly an 8.5/10. You don't get the closest shave but it gets the job done and also safe to use regularly.So this brings me to this Remington model. I was looking for something to beat the Norelco. And with the round head on the blade I thought it might be better. This product is completely useless. It barely cuts anything. I had one (Alaska brand) I bought in Germany that worked wonders for 5 years, and never a nick.I gave it one star only because I had to. Fortunately, a friend of mine still living in Germany found a new Alaska trimmer at Globus. I got it today and it is as excellent as the old one. Do not buy this product. |
